How to be genderless (bug?)

I was wandering around in the pokemon maze, and... I found a certain legendary (one that you don't need an event item to get)
So I touched it and it said something along the lines of, "You will now be genderless, because legendaries are genderless, ok?"
So I clicked ok and my pokemon choice turned into that legendary...
But then I kept going and went and touched the statue of a normal pokemon...
And then I died.
But then, when I clicked to talk to mom, the only choice was for me to be genderless, even though I was a normal pokemon who could have either gender!
Should this be fixed?

Small bug. It might be fixed eventually, after PA2 is updated a lot more.

if it happens again its probably that you chose rotom, its meant to happen with it i think

It tells you when a pokemon is genderless and when it's not. The bug was that the pokemon you chose would end up genderless when it wasn't supposed to be; rotom, however, is genderless.
